Yatesville Lake State Park Marina

Beautiful lake with bald eagle. They have great fishing and camping.

"Sun Shining On Water." Trees keep it nice and cool When walking is a plus. Would like if Trails were kept cleaner of debris, (like tree trunks and tree branches) Which can cause one to trip or have to jump over something, at least there are benches and trash cans, and recently they added out house restrooms and Pet Bags. You can find quite a lot of Wildlife (Birds Specifically) I took Photographs of Pileated Woodpeckers while I was here Come Out Here Every Year Practically, Nice Lake Lots of Deer out here too.

Yatesville lake has a lot to offer. It has four different boat launch ramps, a marina, shelter houses for picnics, RV and primitive camp grounds (even “boat in only” camp sites), hiking trails, a handicapped accessible fishing jetty, golfing and horseback riding, and also a beach that is open seasonally, but you can swim anywhere in the lake, including at the main launch ramp area (accessible from Rt. 3). Two of the boat ramps are accessible from off of Rt. 32, one near the camp grounds, and this also leads into another park, Lawrence County Wilderness Park, which is another camping area and beach that also has a shelter house, lakeside cabins for rent, playgrounds, kayak rentals, and more. The whole area has much to offer, and I’m sure I’m leaving out a few of the amenities. It is a very scenic lake. My pics show just how beautiful it is in the fall.

Absolutely beautiful place. Double boat ramp. Actually wide enough to put in 3 or 4 boats at a time. Everyone was obeying the no wake zone. Great places to bank fish to.

Beautiful lake and park. If you want to fish come early before all the play toys come out.
