Wish I could get minnows in Tuesday or Wednesday, the office is closed. Then if u launch a canoe a cop comes after you?

I called and was told if I'm a wyandotte county resident it'd be $16 to kayak for a day but when I got there they charged me $26 because my license has my first house address and they don't have life jackets for rent and they don't tell you you need one they'd rather wait until you get in the water to kick you out for not having one... ridiculous pricing for a lake that's always green with algae

The website says closed but drove up to marina to get boat permit, they are open and will be open tommorrow. 5/28/22 and 5/29/22. Cash only for permits!!!!

The parks sheriff was overzealous because we're out there playing and he had to work so I guess people when it's not necessary
