The guy knows his boats in side an out there’s nothing this guy can’t fix on a boat!!!

DO NOT EVEN GIVE THEM A CONSIDERATION!!! If I could give a 0 star review I would. They came in April to fix a part on the motor of our pontoon. He told us he would rebuild and it wouldn't take long. Every time we request and update we are given a run around. It is now Aug 27 and the summer is over and we have not used our boat or had any progress. They keep saying Oh ya it's fixed , we'll be out and never show!!! I have called, emailed and called again!!!! No response!!! Terrible business etiquette!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! We called to have a depth finder installed in our boat and when he was installing it he drilled holes in the wrong spot which knocked out our AC unit causing it to break. He tried to cover up his mistake with tape!!! When my husband asked him about it he lied and said he never did it. About an hour later over the phone he admitted to drilling the hole and taping it but said it had nothing to do with the AC. When he left the boat he said he was going to get another part but he never returned. I'm not sure what the part was for if he didn't cause any damage like he said? We tried contacting him several times over the last few days with no response. When we told him that we would be contacting our insurance and sending him the new bill for the repairs that he caused he then responded by calling us cockroaches and blocked our number. This man is the most unprofessional rude person I have ever met in my life! Do not hire him!

I had Wriska do an install of the Beta 35 into my Tartan 37 in the Spring of 2017. Throughout the process I worked with Terry and he was incredibly responsive and professional. Costs ran slightly over initial estimates, but it was a boat that had been sitting for a number of years so was not unexpected. Cost overruns were to do the install the right way rather than with short cuts. I would highly recommend Wriska to anyone needing marine mechanical work performed in the Detroit area. I am very satisfied with their work.

Over priced, poorly organized and unprofessional. Work was fine, however experience was not. Had them do an impeller job and they charged almost double what other mechanics charge, didnt know better at the time (newer boat to me, first impeller change out). Took boat in for new problem a few months later. Was told to bring it up a week later and drop it off and they would work on it. Dropped of on agreed day. Called three times that week starting Wed to confirm quote, etc, no response or call backs. On the following Monday called again found they only started it that day. Took another week to replace various common alpha parts (gimble, seal, etc) and trim limit senders (which I left a message on the Sunday before I dropped off to not replace but they said they didnt get the message.) Original quote was to replace boots @ $300, however showed up to a $1300 bill with no call for authorization and was told "you would want to replace those parts anyway since they got wet." With very little good season left I paid the bill, but not after much arguing with these guys. Find someone else, its worth your time.
