Wormley Creek Boat Landing

Dock with two kayak rollers. Small single paved boat ramp with separate dock. Water depth is about 3 feet at dock and gets deeper as you head down stream. Paved parking has spaces for about 7 cars; however, there is no special parking for trailers. There are trash cans and picknick table and a porta-poty. The area is well maitained probably because there is a small sewage processing station at the parking lot. Houses line the creek and it is a good place to paddle

Very convenient and good place to learn paddle boarding. But if you take the western branch at low tide you may have to get out and walk. Be very careful to bring hydrogen peroxide if you get cut. There could be flesh eating bacteria. Seriously.

Beautiful Spot.. Very nice flat water creek- Great Kayak Launch , clean Porta Potty :-) Paved parking lot-- Also Boat Ramp

First time launching the kayak from this location. Had a great paddle out towards the York and part way up the western branch of the creek. Rode the incoming tide back to the launch point with a few diversions to check out nooks and crannies along the way. Peaceful and beautiful.

A really nice quiet place to sit, think, and enjoy nature. As a public boat launch, it's great. Large parking area for your vehicle and trailer. Port-a-john for nature's call. And has a handicap canoe/kayak launch dock.
