Arrived. Pulled my foldable kayak out and had it inspected. Paid $25 for a day pass (good towards the $60 annual pass). Lots of parking. Put in and paddled to Grout Bay. Lots of water plants.

Friendly and informative staff, nice and clean boat launch, not as much algae and good depth. Good location. They allow you to launch kayaks, shore is at the perfect depth to do so.

I didnt even know they have this spot in Big Bear. I was so amazed with the view. This is a good place to relax, unwind and just enjoy the view. If i had time i would have rented a boat or a kayak and went fishing. I will definitely come back here when i drive up to Big Bear again.
