These folks have been so helpful and reliable when servicing my 2004 Hunter 44DS. Engine, fuel system, generator, and other problem solving, they are fast in response and deliver great service.

I’ve found in this industry (boat maintenance and service) you often cannot count on a vendor to follow through on promises made to be at a job site on a certain time and day. It is a relief to know that there is one company that does not prescribe to that method of doing business. WFY has a business model that strives to be responsive to customers’ calls for service and show up when promised. Owners Brian and Jason run a business that focuses on customer service. My experience has been an excellent one. I’ve interacted with their knowledgeable mechanics, described the issues I was having and they identified and fixed the problem in a timely way. Their prices are fair and right in line with the industry standard. I would recommend this business to anyone looking to have service work done on their vessel by someone who will deliver what they promise at a fair price.

The team at West Florida Yacht & Marine were referred to us represented to be reputable. The folks at WFYM aren’t only reputable; they are TOP SHELF ROCK STARS. From the first telephone call with Josh to the work done by Brian, there’s not one word that serves to adequately describe them; there are MANY including RESPONSIVE, PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS, RESPECTFUL, KNOWLEDGEABLE. As to every issue—especially the various issues caused by the recent hurricanes—never once did they blink at the willingness to attack the issue. Instead of bailing on the various challenges, they embraced all of them willingly to help advance a remedy. Their communication is nothing short of SUPERB confirming status of parts, dates & times they could do the work, status of the work including sharing updates & photos when work was complete. AND they showed up every time they said they would and also let us know when they were on the way AND after they were done for that day. During all communication whether by tel, email, or text, they never seemed to care. Rather, they GENUINELY CARED. It wasn’t simply going thru the motions for another customer. Instead, for them, it’s not only about doing it, yet doing it right. They didn’t cut corners nor compromise the work. They also ensured everything was organized, cleaned, & locked up when they left. As for their rates: very fair and reasonable. Clearly not out to gouge nor take advantage of us. They worked to save us money where they could without compromising the quality. Add to that they are tremendously personable, friendly, and easy to work with. Tip of the hat esp to Josh & Brian. In these times when customer service seems to be the exception to the rule—especially in the boating world—the good folks at WEST FLORIDA YACHT & MARINE are refreshing and reassuring. Not only do they raise the bar, they also set the standard. We will continue to work with WEST FLORIDA YACHT & MARINE AND refer them to others without any hesitation or reservation.
