Wax Marina

Met the owner Donnie, super great guy and went above and beyond to help us find a place to park our boat. Earlier in the summer they let us get gas after they were closed, everyone is always friendly. John & Wendy Crocker

We had a wonderful time! We rented the Double Decker Pontoon from 8am to 6pm. Employees were wonderful and very helpful. The atmosphere is beautiful and well kept plus if you've forgotten anything they have a store where you may purchase just about anything for a day on the boat!! Have fun cus we sure did!

Want to make other people aware , this business is not professional and cancel your deal without refund at any time . We rent a pontoon with slide one moth prior father day, they cancel it TWO DAYS prior the event and this is the boat with got to replace the pontoon with slide .The engine have not power for 5 people and 2 babies, max speed limit were similar to kayaking, between 9 and 5 we were only able to sail one mile around the marina . Definitivamente never rent again from Wax marina( we are a Spanish family and this could have been the issue ) I would look at other options before you rent for these people.

A nice, smaller, marina on Nolin Lake where you'll find plenty of parking and a easily accessible boat ramp. Parking for your vehicle and boat trailer is only $5 or you can buy an annual pass for $40. After a day on the water you can enjoy food and drinks at Buoys Lodge on the Lake located on the hill next to the marina. You can leave your vehicle and boat parked at the marina and walk up the stairs to access the lodge/restaurant. You should note that depending on the day and time of your visit, live music can also be found here.

Wax Marina was clean, easy to find. We rented a small pontoon boat for the day, decent price. We had contacted them the day before about a rough time frame we'd be there to pick up the boat and it was there at the dock right on time. The staff was very knowledgeable about the boat and surrounding area. They took the time to go over everything and answer all of our questions. I would absolutely return here and rent from them again.
