Incredible service and knowledge! Not only are the prices great, but he had a hard to find old coil in stock to fix my boat. Great job… So hard to find knowledge and customer service like this anymore.

He was amazing, got us in and out on a full 4.3L Long block from freeze damage with ease. He backs up his work and it shows with the craftsmanship. We haven’t had any issues and the engine has been great! If you are looking for a no BS mechanic, Waco is the place to go! Honest mechanics are hard to come across, if I’m ever back in Waco I’ll be stopping in to say thank you!

Didn’t have a great phone call with the owner. First off the bat he hammered me about ability to pay and his history with a few past customers. He gave me his terms and understanding that I would have to pay upfront before anything was even fixed, in my head I agreed, but the moment I posed to him what my terms were, he had a problem. That in it self scares me as a consumer. He referred me to someone else which is fine. I wish him well. It looks like the customers that did post a review likes him and that’s great. Sorry you were not paid by those other people but it’s a business and you assume risks, I think it’s unfair to pass those risks off to you customer base. Good luck.

I have worked with James for many years and 3 different boats. Always great service, very responsive and fair pricing. If you are looking for boat maintenance / repair, this is the place to go! We bought a used boat last season and had only run it once since purchase. When we pulled it out this season to get it up and running and lake ready, we ran into a few issues that I didn't feel comfortable trying to figure out on my own. We initially called around to some of the "big" name places here in town and were given the run around... seems like they were more interested in putting us in a new boat and they didn't seem interested in looking at an "older" boat. I did a little searching online and came across James' website. He had great reviews and we can totally see why! We gave him a call to see if he might could help us out and he was SUPER friendly and helpful from the jump. We took it out to him and he was straight forward and up front with us as soon as we looked the boat over. He told me what he thought it would take to get it torn down and looked at and assured us that he would not go any deeper into things until he spoke to us about it. That, in itself, is something that you don't find much these days. We could tell that he wasn't just out to get our money and screw us over. He let us know up front, that it would take about a week to get to because he had a few other projects in front of us. Not a problem at all, but again, appreciated that he let us know up front! Got a call a few days later and he let us know that he had the problem fixed and a few other items that he found along the way, that he fixed up as well! When we went back to pick it up, he took extra time out of his day to go over certain things and make sure that we fully understood how to properly maintain it and asked that we give him a call if we came across ANY issues moving forward. Just an all around good guy that will shoot you straight and get things done the right way! Hard to find someone like this anymore!
