Van Buren Boat Ramp

Wide ramp, concrete paving in great condition, porta-potty of generous proportions and maintained, loads of parking, especially pretty part of Taylorsville Lake...but SHALLOW here -- easy does it as you get underway with your boat. 🚤🚣‍♀️⛵️

Less busy than other ramps with good parking access. Ramp has both a grooved and non grooved launch. Only negative is that it is shallow towards the west end and while flat bottom boats can get through any I/O boats will have trouble.

Nice boat ramp! But the light bulb in the light pole was not working, and it was very dark and dangerous at night time! Too many boats was coming in to load up and leave at the same time. Who ever is responsible needs to make sure that the lights are in working condition, and have somebody to come out to all 4 boat ramps at night time either once a month or ever 2 weeks!!

Had a blast! A bit of debris but calm waters, beautiful scenery, turtles, birds, and lots of jumping fish for the kids first kayak ride (and swim). Beautiful day.
