Urbanna Boatyard & Marina

Visited for the Oyster Festival 2024 and had a fantastic experience. Due to a shift in the forecast we grabbed a slip last minute. Slip prices were very reasonable, owners and staff were very friendly and accommodating despite the festival traffic. Floating docks were great, bathhouse was clean and updated, but the surprise was the live music for slip holders. The band, Good Shot Judy, was the highlight of the entire festival, and an evening we’ll never forget. Thank you, and please do that again!

Great marina in a small town. Close to everything but far enough away. Andy was very helpful and this was my second visit because of it. Bathrooms are decorated and very clean. Laundry is right in the lounge area at the office. Very welcoming marina and town. Update - The boatyard is under reorganization as the operator moved to a new marina. Word is new operator is coming in to set up shop but boats are vetting hauled out to clean their bottom and put back in. The marina continues to provide services as they are able.

What a gem! We were greeted by 3 dock hands which made it so easy to get settled. Introductions were made all around and we instantly felt very welcomed. Amy was so gracious with her time and information about the town events and restaurants. She loaned us her bikes and offered her personal kayak. After learning about my foot injury she offered her golf cart. The bathrooms/showers were extremely clean and nicely decorated. The onsite boutique was an added bonus. Andy later welcomed us and was not only extremely friendly but a wealth information about the general area. We wish them much success and will be back to visit.

The best Marina that we’ve stayed at during travels from Yorktown ,VA to Kittery, Maine. The new owners are very personable. The floating docks are in great condition. There is a small lounge, laundry, and exceptionally clean, pleasant decor restroom and showers. There is a boat yard with travel lift. The Marina is a short walk to the town’s several restaurants and shops.

We stayed two nights with our Hatteras 52 CMY "TANGO" and had one of the best marina experiences ever. We enjoyed a casual meal at Dockside Grill on the premises. We docked in a slip at the top of the "S" for a great view down the creek - perfect for sunrise photos! Andy, the new owner of this well-maintained marina, is an outstanding ambassador for the historic town of Urbanna and it's surrounding area - he even let us use his golf cart for a trip to the nearby grocery!
