Have a Suzuki 70hp 4stroke that wasn’t starting. Took it to universal and the owner checked it out. He found the problem with the starter, fixed the problem and had me running in under an hour. I couldn’t be more pleased with the service and hospitality. True southern hospitality. The price was right also. Awesome job.

Got my boat repowered here and they now have a customer for life. Friendly. Knowledgeable. Experienced. Great prices. They go out of their way to help and make sure you get what you need and they don’t try to sell you anything you don’t need. I wish I had found them sooner and repowered my big boat with them as I know it would have been done right.

Great experience with a new 90 hp Suzuki installed on my boat. Norm went beyond my expectations, offered sound advice, and even completed trailer repair on safety issues I was unaware of. Extremely knowledgeable, honest, and a fair price. After having my water pump replaced by another mechanic and still having issues I stopped by to check out Universal Marine. Norm took the time to listen to my experience and then explained what he thought it might be. He was right. It was a quick fix without getting jerked around. I would highly recommend!
