Union Lake Swim-Only Access

Checking out the ice with the kids. Someone had made an ice couch out on the water.

Use to be a very nice boat launch. The DNR folded to the homeowners on the lake and closed it. Now they only have one little tiny boat launch.

tried this lake for the first time I will never go back I was told by another boater that I took their spot, I looked for a sign saying so couldn't find one obviously when I told him all I need was 5 minutes him and his wife Karen 🤣 lost their temper and threatened to call the police. Its a public launch but sure Im wrong so I just packed my things up and left. Don't go unless your one of the rich that can afford a really nice boat to be snobs on

We love going to the union lake. The only disadvantage: 2 ramps only, limited space for launch and the parking spot is across a main road. So you always have to calculate extra time waiting for your driver.

Union Lake is definitely a beautiful lake to go out on, but the boat launch is absolutely a nightmare. When you lunch the boat you have to cross the street and get into a tight parking lot, which only has one way in and out. So it is extremely difficult to reverse the trailer to get back out and pick up the boat. Other than that, beautiful Lake!
