Refer to the negative review from Eric. Had the same experience. Over promised, terrible communication, and then had to have my motor fixed by someone else. When we sent them the invoice we got some choice words not appropriate for a review.

Very disappointing to wait for your boat to get worked on..and not get it fixed. Had to go put the boat in the water myself and discover still that it was mechanically broken(coupler). Extremely rude mechanic taking no accountability for his oversights. Would highly discourage anyone consider bringing them your boat for service.

This is a minor negative review, as I don't have extensive experience with these people. I'm sure they are usually terrific, but I had a slightly negative experience, as follows: dropped off my little Johnson outboard motor on the morning of July 24th, 2020 for some small service work. Todd told me I could pick the motor up in a "a week to a week and a half." OK. so 7-10 days right?. I phoned about the motor on the morning of August 3rd (that's 10 days later, right? 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 1, 2 ) and since no one answered, I left a voice message. After I received no return phone call (about 24 hours later), I drove the 22 miles from my place in Rochester out to Dover to check on things. Todd said I had dropped off the motor only 6 days prior because "weekends don't count," and I didn't argue with him, I simply asked whether or not he could have the motor ready by Thursday the 6th of August, a day before I was to need the motor for a sailing trip. He said "it depends on what parts we need etc." I took the motor and left. My recommendations for this business owner are as follows 1) Avoid falling into the trap of over promising and under delivering. I prefer things the other way around, for example "That's probably going to take a few weeks since we don't know what parts we'll need and we can't work on weekends, etc." Then, you delight the customer if you get the motor ready earlier, instead of frustrating him because you took longer than you promised and added all of the wiggly excuses to make the customer feel he was being too demanding. 2) Return a phone call with relative speed 3) Apologize if your customer says something such as "I would have appreciated a return of my phone call..." I won't likely be back.

Fixed our boat motor, kept us informed of the parts and services needed to repair and fix. Tony was enjoyable to work with. Appreciated the contact with him. Great trusted business.

TNT is getting 1 of 5 stars as their customer service skills were absolutely terrible. They should be embarrassed they way they speak with their customers. Swearing and name calling from a male to female is completely disrespectful and coming from a business owner to the client is just disgusting. We will never again use TNT. Their services may have been fine, but customer service skills were terrible and embarrassing as a company. They should be ashamed for the rude and out of line comments, when one simply is asking for a copy of an invoice. Extremely disappointed.
