Beautiful park with excellent boating facilities. Bathrooms were clean and maintained. Rented a pontoon for the day and had a fabulous time on the lake.

Not a good place to launch kayaks. Upon arrival, we were greeted with an employee in golf cart stating we were NOT allowed to use boat launch. We were forced to put in on rocky area. There is NO signs saying kayak launch is not allowed at boat launch. I won’t go back. It’s too bad. Directly across at town launch is more welcoming for kayakers.

Trailer parking could be widened to accomidate the use of more spots and not being so tight. As for the docks by the ramp themselves could be better. They have seen their wear and tear. They are not very jet ski friendly. Bumpers are falling apart and dont go low enough to keep the exposed metal from tearing up your ski. They could go lower to formally act as a bumper and have something to keep the ski from going under the dock. Mine has many bruises from that. You can tie it up the absolute best but it will tear into it in some way shape or form. Even worse when people ignore the no wake zone.

This place has gone down hill bad. The park service is horrible, the new remodel bath house are nice but poorly done. If you have to use the toilet you have to open the the to sit down then reopen it to get up. The bath houses have horrible ventilation. It's like walking into a sweat shop. The fan switches don't work. Pulling into some of the camping spots your vehicle will bottom out or scrap the ground. For them to spend all this money on fixing this place up they've done a poor job.

I have always lived close to here and enjoyed the area a lot. This is a beautiful campground and the staff is always very nice. They monitor the grounds regularly so it's perfect for your family getaway. Plenty of room and amenities. I heard they are updating some spaces, so I am excited to see that!
