Tidewater Yacht Marina

Great marina. Excellent staff. Very professional, friendly and accommodating, especially Danielle, Caitlin and Rick. Well maintained with a fuel dock, pump out, clean restrooms/showers and laundry room. Fresh baked cookies and coffee in the morning add a special welcoming touch. The location is great with beautiful views of downtown Norfolk and a restaurant on site. The ferry ($4 round trip) is close by to take you to Norfolk. Portsmouth is a short walk away with many restaurants. Highly recommend Tidewater Yacht Marina!

This is a terrific marina. The staff and restaurant employees very friendly. Even though we anchored out in the harbor, they allowed us to use their facilities. We had gotten in late the first night and they didn't charge us. The second night they charged us a minimal fee for use of the showers and laundry. Both showers and laundry were very clean. We ate twice at their restaurant and they had happy hour fresh oysters for .99 cents each. Amazing fresh oysters. Portsmouth has some great bike rides which we took advantage of.while there. Great place and location.

Awesome Marina, Rick and Kathrine gave really amazing hospitality, if you’re looking for a high quality Marina and restaurant with friendly staff I recommend stopping there, even if it’s only for fuel or the restaurant. Very friendly staff and well maintained facility. Floating docks in good condition. On site restaurant was great for informal seafood and burgers. Easy access to downtown Portsmouth (which has lots of restaurants and history) and to ferry over to Norfolk. Will come back here next year.

Outstanding marina. Great comprehensive amenities. Showers/bathrooms are very clean. Rick (General Manager), incredibly nice and welcoming, was super helpful in helping us gas up, pump out, and into our slip. Docks and slips all in great shape. The staff in the ship store was so great. The restaurant upstairs at Fish & Slips is very very good. If you love crab, get the Crabosaurus Rex. It’s crab on crab amazing. A great stop over on our Northbound Intracoastal Waterway trip.
