Horrible customer service. Never answer the phone and voicemails never returned. Take your boat elsewhere.

I checked out of my boat slip in mid July and turned in my parking passes and key fob. The lady told me that my deposit would pay for the month of August since it was already in that months billing cycle. She signed me off and then in early September they called me wanting payments for August and July. I told them I checked out in July and they said they would have to find the paperwork. I spoke with the Manager and conveyed the whole story again. She said they must have misplaced the paperwork due to the young lady who signed me off being a new employee that day. I asked her will this go to a collections agency, she said no. I last spoke to her in early October when she said I will get back with you if we cannot find the paperwork. I received a letter from a debt collection agency last week over this mess in late December!!! My credit is now blown apart and Subset Aquatic had lied to me. I have driven down to there office 5 times before this happened along with endless messages on their voicemail. They do not return calls let alone answer there phone. It’s a real shame because the place is really nice but the office staff are horrible. Stay away from this place and protect you’re credit.

Be aware that the launch ramp pay gate costs $15 for 24 hours (so it's okay to be in the lot for 24 hours). You can pay up to 2 weeks (if you're launching and going to Catalina) and you can leave the truck and trailer in the lot. I'd let the office staff know if you're going to be gone for a few days, so they can keep an eye on things. Gate and wash rack is credit card only, and there are no refunds (they may issue you a pass for future use).

Good ramps, wide lanes and lots of parking. There is little surge to launch and retrieve your boat. You need to pay attention to the wind and which will easily put you into the mud.

The 1st word in the name of this place says it all. The beauty of Sunset Aquatic is you don’t need a boat to enjoy it. This is a hidden gem in HB there’s plenty of parking a large long walking area and you get to check out some amazing boats but hands down the beat part are the sunsets. Come around dusk and enjoy a peaceful beautiful sunset by yourself or with a friend I promise you won’t be disappointed. Check out the time lapse I took and see what I mean.
