My wife and I purchased a Godfrey pontoon from Gary this past summer with a slip for the summer. It was a purchase that we were hesitant on for the past several years but finally made up our minds and pulled the trigger. This was one of the best purchases we’ve made and it was a great experience for the family. I love the fact that this location isn’t super busy and is very easy to dock. I would like to thank Gary and his crew for making this summer a great adventure for us. We can’t wait to get back on the water next year!!!

I wish 0 stars was an option. I have never met such a callous, money hungry, inhumane person in my life as Gary is. That man had no regard for the safety of my children, demanding money before I could safely get my children in the car. I strongly recommend you find anyone/anywhere else to go to than this marina. I don’t ever post ratings for anything, but this experience deserved a review. Even his employee couldn’t believe how Gary was behaving. I urge you, steer clear of this place.

One phone call to this business, and can already attest for the absolutely terrible customer service. Stay away. When I asked about the possibility of renting a jet ski, I was subject to an angry tirade about how they had never rented jet skis in 40 years, and that I was insane for wanting to ride one on a river rather than a lake (I tried to break in to mention the numerous jet skis I see on the river all the time, but was ignored). When I finally had an opportunity to talk again, I began to ask whether this was due to liability concerns, but the person had already hung up. I don't normally post many reviews, and I've never once before posted a review for a business that I haven't actually patronized, but this particular incident was so egregious that simply talking to them on the phone left me livid enough to start thinking about what I could do to get back at them. This is it. I can warn other people, and pray they go out of business and the property is taken over by a less antagonistic corporate entity. Edit: Having read other customers reviews, I'm starting to strongly suspect that at least one high ranking member of their staff is a legitimate sociopath. Literally nothing else could explain this level of terrible customer service. I mean, if he or she had literally any other choice they would be nicer simply for the sake of retaining business. Clearly the only reason this entity is still commercially functional is lack of competition. But to echo another reviewer, even if this is literally your only option, stay away. You would probably save money just buying a cheap kayak and using the boat launch in Northampton anyways.

Gary is amazing, he is always around for sound boat advice and his shop dose great work. A friend of mine also bought a boat from him this summer and Gary went above and beyond to make sure he was all set..

Great fun on the river. Boat was well maintained and well explained upon departure and staff was thorough with explaining the particulars on the river. Will rent again!
