I have a Honda 250 outboard that ended up having an electric intermittent problem that left me stranded at the islands. Took the boat to 2 different service providers that could not figure the problem out. I saw that Specialty Marine was a certified Honda dealer so I took the boat to them. Scott the owner personally took on my project with one of his lead mechanics. They were able to find the issue and correct the problem quickly at a very reasonable cost. I will for now on go nowhere but Specialty Marine! Thanks for the solid service Scott and Specialty Marine!

Scott and the entire Specialty Marine crew are nothing but professional, hardworking, and honest. I purchased a brand new Honda Outboard from them and every step was perfectly smooth from ordering the engine to final testing. (We a rowing up in the Chanel Islands harbor) They helped us with transportation of our launch. They cleaned our launch and installed the new motor and control box so fast and with so much expertise. Have been taking my mercury outboard here for years now. Never have they tried to sell me on anything and have been honest, I wouldn’t usually write a review but seeing the two negative ones below me, I had too. Never got bad vibes from this place, I have recommended friends here and they were always happy with the work done and never had problems. I drive from Simi Valley here and wouldn’t take my motor anywhere else.
