By far the dirtiest launch ramp I have ever seen! This place is disgusting! I will not be going back. I actually had to move large metal objects out of the way so I could back my boat in. When I pulled it out it was covered in trash. There was a homeless man naked in the bathroom, which would have been an awful place to be even without him in there. This was a Tuesday by the way and it was not after a holiday weekend or anything like that so I don’t think I just went on a bad a day. I think this is the norm at this place. Come on Long Beach you can do better than this!

I really like the facility, however, the parking enforcement is totally out of control. Too many vehicles are allowed in, more cars than spots. Also, no tickets for cars blocking trailer parking. When recovering the boat at the end of the day you can't even drive a trailer around the lot because of cars blocking the road.

Launch ramp for your Boat that is close to downtown and across the water from Shoreline Village. 4 launch lanes with docks. 2 spaces to wash your boat off. The restrooms were okay...not the cleanest. Location is kind of tricky to get to - If you miss the right turn onto the street you will end up back on the 710 freeway, so pay attention. Ample parking. Only $12 for a 24 pass to launch your boat and park your car. The entrance gate arm is usually up/open or broken but getting a pass ensures you won't get ticketed or towed. We launched a 28 ft Formula from here and found that the ramps steep incline and lack of traction made it difficult to pull the boat in/out especially during low tide so keep that in mind...or bring a 4WD. Also, water here tends to have lots of debris and trash floating in it so beware.

Visiting from out of town and happened upon this place while looking for a quick and easy place to park and enjoy the ocean and view of Long Beach.
Got there around 830pm and had the place to ourselves. Just parked and sat on some rocks while enjoying the ocean breeze.

Adequate parking, free wash down, and 4 boat launch lanes with docks. Restrooms also a picnic area. Parking is $12, you can stay overnight next door in the hotel if you like and can see launch area from view. Open 24h 👍
