I can't say enough wonderful things about David at SouthCoast Boatworks both personally and professionally. I was in a difficult position, searching for tradesmen to help me out with my sailboat (as a recent widow) and he was right there to give me help, advice and superior referrals. The work he personally did for me was done perfectly and was completed exactly when he said it would be done as was the work done by his associates and referrals. Although David specializes in restoring vintage boats, he truly went out of his way to help me with something that's a bit out of his speciality. Had my bottom sanded and painted he did a great job, so good I then hired him for a detail and wax. Very happy with his service.

David sanded the bottom of our boat. It was in poor condition with lots of bumps and high spots. He was able to get it much smoother and removed the high spots. Nice neat job too with a vacuum sander. I would highly recommend his services.

David is a godsend helping us prep our first boat for sailing. It is a pre-owned Catalina 25 and, while in good shape, needs the usual birthing issues addressed. David's wide ranging expertise from outboard prep to electrical review to hull prep is irreplaceable. Bob and Sue
