I wish I would have read the reviews ahead of time did time. Dealing with the same unresponsive situation as stated by many others. Took the deposit and has given every excuse in the book as to why the project cannot be complete even when offered to take the product as is. Once asked for a refund Brian will not read my messages or respond. STAY AWAY

They do not stand by their products. Had an issue and they would not fix it nor provide a partial refund. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I purchased a console from Brian, and gave him a down payment, he was supposed to finish it in 2 weeks; almost 5 months into the purchase he gave me all the excuses in the book ranging from family troubles, sickness, mold breaking, employee issues, etc.... I ended up finding another console, and then he didn't want to refund the down payment, as a punishment ended up not returning messages and kept my down payment. do not give this man any money up front, he seems really nice but the customer service is very poor. Extremely unsatisfied with his service and work ethic.

I have been trying to reach Helms Boats inc. , Sarasota Boat Works / the maker of my 15ft skiff for months now. I have sent emails, called everyday, and left voicemails. I have received zero response and my last resort is to actually drive to the manufacturer five hours away. I have a 2012 siesta skiff that is completely falling apart. It has been garage kept, and properly maintained. The entire deck is soft and parts have literally fallen in. The wood used to build the boat is not marine grade wood and is literally sitting in clumps in the hull of the boat (decomposing). I have been trying to reach out to see what type of warranty these boats have but no response from anyone affiliated with the manufacturer.

i had my 2013 20 Siesta Skiff repaired by Brian and Richard, the customer attention and repairs were outstanding!!! A+++ This guys knows what they doing, they are 2 hours away from and i would do it again if i ever need my boat to be worked on. I will most definitely recommend them. Thank you guys.
