Miserable old geezer telling me the last boat launch was 4pm and it was 4:30. Nowhere in the details did it say last boat launch 4pm. Just that boats have to be off the water 1 hour before close. Don't disagree with the policy, just didn't like the angry attitude

This is a beautiful place with lots of trees, flowers, etc. I usually come here to fish but it's also a really nice place to walk around. The fishing isn't bad but I just haven't had much luck here. Overall, a great place to take the family.

That’s very good place to go with friends or family. You can rent boat hourly or for whole day. First come first serve. You Can not reserve a boat a head of the time. They have a different kind of boat with different prices. The big one with sofa is $350 for whole day. That’s good for 13 people. I think it’s worth it if you have a big family. It’s very comfortable and safe for everyone. Especially for kids. We loved that. My kids drive a little bit boat and enjoyed it.

Very nice boat, kayak and canoe launch with ample parking and bathrooms. Pay kiosk/attendant at entrance for launch, inspection and parking fee.

I don't usually write reviews, but I feel like I need to warn people.
I was fine with paying the fee to get in, but they didn't have any signage about parking or grilling rules. An incredibly rude employee, who didn't identify himself as an employee, pulled up in a sedan and yelled at us for carrying coals. I guess then called the police on us, but since we going anything wrong the cop was polite and left.
We got back to the car to find we had a ticket for "obstructing traffic" even though we parked in line with all the other cars in the very large and very empty lot. They had given everyone in line a ticket, even though there was no traffic to obstruct. We plan on contesting the ticket since there was no proper signage.
We are a quiet, small group of people that wanted to sit at a picnic table, grill some food, and have a nice afternoon. If you're looking to do the same, I recommend going somewhere else.
