Salem Lake Marina Center & Fishing Station

Wonderful exhibit inside at the Marina office with fish, amphibians & wildlife. Restrooms (ADA compliant) also located there & by the playground. There is a 7 mile trial around the lake - all dirt - and suitable for walking, running & trail biking. Halfway around the lake, there is another parking area & restrooms. 3rd parking area is. It immediately adjacent to the lake & sketchy place to park. Or sit on the lakefront, catch some rays & enjoy the view - relax & enjoy the outdoors. Lots of places to park at the marina.

Changing my rating from 4⭐️s to 2⭐️s Can't sit out on the balcony of the main building.. one person ruined it for the public is what I got told from the Rangers today! Me and my mom was sitting there for over an hour and then got told we had to leave because it is closed to the public unless you book an event with them! What's the point of having an area for the public if the public can't use it? Anyways it's a nice area to walk and explore! Lots of wild life I have seen poisonous snakes, turtles, deers, birds/ducks, fish... I would luv to give it a higher rating but the lower level where the park is.. it's the only things you can do there now

Very busy on the trails and the people on the bikes must think there in the tour de France bike race or something riding down these trails way to fast with kids around

Great place to fish, boat, kayak, relax, hike, and bike, has an excellent playground. A lot of parking and space for events. Club house has a lot space for events and the tackle/bait shop has cool exhibits for all to see. Staff is helpful and nice.

A nice close place from downtown where I love taking my guys for a beautiful trip thru nature. It even has a dock you can fish from (charges do apply) and you can even buy live bait. The track is 7 miles around which is a nice bike ride or walk. A must vist if you are looking for a walk with nature.
