Safe Harbor Wisdom Dock

Already slowed down getting shut down for winter. Great place and being at the lake is ALways!! Awesome!

Kinda old, out dated, dock is a little rough shape, looks kinda like a ghost town, a boat graveyard. No one was around, bathrooms were outta order... Kinda an erie vibe, waiting for Jaws or Nessy to come in and wreak havoc...

Nice marina with rooms to rent as well. Smaller but we loved it as base for the weekend

We recently stayed at wisdom. Our room was clean, staff was very kind and helpful, our covered boat slip was just out our room door. Keep in mind, your staying on the lake with beautiful views this not at a 5 star hotel. It was very peaceful sitting in the dock in their rocking chairs. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was due to no restaurant on site, this was a huge draw back for us. Theres a store with snacks etc however with this being our first trip to Dale Hollow Lake having no clue where to go for meals it was frustrating. I brought minimal food items, snacks mostly. And Nothing for breakfast. So if you do stay here, bring food. Boating to restaurants on the lake is a long ride. By the way we will most definitely stay here again.

This review came from a house boat rental. Starting off, the website is hard to navigate and the boat pictures are lacking. That makes it hard to make decisions. My wife called them and asked several questions and they were very friendly. Upon arrival, there are several place to park your vehicle while you're out on the boat and they did provide large hand trucks to get your stuff to the boat. The boat was very clean on our arrival. They took us through how to drive the boat, how to maintain it, and how to use the various amenities. They also made sure to give us a map and even answered several questions about the lake. While out on the water we did have an issue with the boat, quite likely our own fault. They sent out a repair boat immediately and took care of everything. The doc staff was very helpful as well as the grocery store staff. Only negatives were that the grocery store wasn't very well-stocked as it was the end of the season and we had to go into town to get stuff. That's generally not a big deal, because you just don't want to be buying groceries at the dock.
