Safe Harbor Grider Hill

Came down for a trip to visit family and stayed in one of the Oaks suite rooms. The room was very clean. The view was beautiful! The staff were so kind and helpful. Very impressed all the way around! This will definitely be a repeat visit for us!!

WARNING WARNING WARNING!!! Find another dock!!! The docks are in complete disrepair with rotted, slick boards everywhere. Going from dock to dock is down right dangerous especially at night where you better have your own light. There are NO public bathrooms at the Marina for gong on 3 years. They do have 1 room that the whole marina can share for showers and bathroom. There is no restaurant. Power is intermittent. Internet is non existent. Pump out is broken every other day. Sewage gets pumped into a truck in the parking lot that overflows back into the lake. Trash gets left on the dock to fall into the water no matter how many calls you make to management. And if they don't like you, you will get an eviction notice with 10 days to move or you will be charged with trespassing. Management spends their time being a tyrant instead of listening to customers long standing complaints. Your money is better spent at Rowena or any dock that isn't Safe Harbor.

We put in here and it was an easy boat ramp to get in and out of and it is a beautiful area!

My brother's and I chartered a trip with the Tallent Guide service for a fishing trip for Father's day. We met at 4:30 am and had an amazing day! We did run into a little bad luck in getting 5 to 6 stripe to the boat edge before they decided not to take a boat ride! Eddie was an amazing guide and I can't wait to take another trip again!

Grider Hill is a great boat dock on the Cumberland Lake that offers so many services that will make your lake and boating experience all that you want it to be. Perched on the hill behind the dock are accommodations that will allow you to stay near the dock and also have both a beautiful and expansive view of the lake. Every person that I met was friendly and the staff on the dock were eager to help in anyway possible! As Always, Enjoy
