When it was $5 to park a trailer, I was able to overlook the steep ramp, missing boards on bottom step, rotten pylons and short pier only large enough for 1 boat on each side at a time. At $6 per person in the vehicle, I won't be back unless solo. Plenty of other ramps in the area in better condition with lower fees.

Will not be back! Cost us $18 to launch and park at the inner boat ramp. It's mediocre btw. I feel sorry for larger families, because it would be $6 PER PERSON. That could easily be $30 to $40. Ridiculous!

We've used the boat ramp here for years. Always $5. Prices were raised to $5 per person so $25 for our family. Won't be back.

This used to be an ok boat ramp given the lack of any other option in the area, but was never a very good boat ramp. The cost went way up - $9.15 PER PERSON in the vehicle for anyone over 11 years of age. If you've got older kids, you could be out close to $40 just to use a sub-par boat ramp, it now costs us $27.45 just to park - total RIPOFF. Right now, it costs more to launch a boat from the Rocky Point boat ramp than it does the Ocean City boat ramp. They charge full park admission prices to use the boat ramp which is outside the main park.
The boat ramp is small with only two lanes. There is adequate parking since they let you park in the grass next to the actual boat ramp parking but there are only a few asphalt trailer spots - if you have a disability you're SOL since there's not enough handicapped parking.
Since this ramp is in Baltimore County (near a large population area), it attracts a lot of knuckleheads so be prepared to see a real clown show at the ramp about half the time you go there. Jet skis jumping the boat ramp waiting line, trucks and trailers just stopping in the middle of the lane and blocking both ramps while they unload their boat gear, people who don't know how to back up a trailer tying up the lanes while they try to figure it out.
Without the price gouging this would be a 3-star boat ramp, but the cost they charge just to park there is absolutely insane.

The cost to visit went up. We drove down from pa and on their website it's says 5 dollars to launch a boat. It went up costing us 48 even though we were just in two cars. Also, do not try launching in the bottom ramp, very shallow. We had to unhook the boat trailer and drag it through the water to unhook. Perhaps at higher tide it would be easier.
