Had my 2003 Lund for 3 months I received 1 phone call to tell me they had a call in to Yamaha because they couldn’t figure out why the motor wouldn’t run well on acceleration. I called several times just to hear the same excuse. I feel they were too busy with bigger better boats to help us.

They didn't have the part in stock but we're happy to provide me the part number so my marina mechanics could order. While I didn't purchase they were still friendly and gave me the info to send me on my way so I could get back on the water. Would recommend this shop over others in the area.

I went in to purchase parts and fluids to service my Suzuki outboard engine. The parts guy seemed to be having issues finding the correct parts. He eventually gave me the parts I requested but I was a little concerned due to the confusion I was witnessing while standing at the counter. Once I paid for the parts I went back home and looked up the parts and fluids and realized everything was incorrect. Wrong viscosity oil and wrong oil filter per manufacturer specifications. I then went back and returned everything. The part that was frustrating was that he identified he didn’t have the correct oil filter but assured me the one he gave me would work. When I I returned I noticed that they only had one quart of oil I needed as well. It almost felt like they just wanted to make a sale instead of following manufactures recommendations. This isn’t how customer service should be. That being said, I purchased my parts elsewhere and will continue to do so. I really like keeping my business local, but it’s very hard to do this when you experience this type of service. All they would have had to say was they didn’t have the parts in stock and they would need to order them.
