Rob's Marine Restoration

Brought my Bass Tracker in for service and added boat detailing to my request. When I arrived at Rob’s Marine Restoration to pick up my boat it looked brand new. The fee to repair my boat and detail it was more than reasonable. I wish I would’ve found Rob sooner, he does everything to repair or install accessories to all boats.

Rob not counting on being a great guy does exceptional work His expertise in bòats makes the go to guy. He worked on my Ranger. New Carpet, new lids, and a ton more. Would send all of my bass buddies in the US and Canada to make the trip to get it done right at a fair price,excellent work. Knowledge of fishing and setting up a boat. That's what we ate looking for. Thanks Rob for an excellent job.

I highly recommend Rob’s Marine Restoration, I brought my 1996 19ft Javelin bass boat to him With a completely broken through floor that needed replaced and then new carpet I also was able to purchase two bucket seats that matched my boat perfectly which were used but in immaculate condition and was able to get rid of my previous three seats that went across my drivers area and has been a real eye sore to me since I purchased my boat about 8 years ago to really put the icing on my project he also had two bass seats - pedestal type that also matched my boat perfectly and was able to throw away all of my old worn out seats The carpet job he did was perfectly done and matched my existing carpet perfectly Him and his son did a phenomenal job very high quality workmanship and complete professionalism with the way they spoke to me and explained everything they were going to do and what needed to be done to get my boat back up to tip top shape Rob’s Marine Restoration Will Be The Only Restoration Business I Will Ever Use Going Forward - Definitely a 5 star business

I met Rob through an employee of mine, dang glad I did. I brought him a 1975 Mako 23 center console with a 200hp Johnson that had been sitting under a tree rotting away since 99'. He was able to rebuild the floor, install a whole mess of electronics and wiring with a T-Top among other things. The boat turned out exceptionally solid. It was money well spent and a heck of a lot cheaper than buying new. Rob is very communicative, always returns phones calls/texts, and above all is honest and friendly. He was a pleasure to work with in this restoration project. If your wanting to buy a vessel but also save some money, finding a worn out old boat that can be restored and upgraded by Rob is a very promising and adventerous option. I am glad I went this route instead of spending 20k+ on another used boat.

My father purchased this boat new in 1979. We used it heavily when I was a child, but the boat was poorly maintained for the last 10+ years. It was my father's baby and he had it custom built in southern Kentucky from a company called "Somerset". My brother and I were given the boat and told it was pretty much a lost cause. The interior including the floor, stringers, and transom were completely rotten from being out in the weather. We took the boat to Rob and he was very up front with us telling us that the boat was going to take more money to fix than it was worth. However, we told him our "sob" story about inheriting the boat and our father passing away in October and he agreed to do the work for us. We told Rob that the boat should be a low priority for him because we had engine work and the upholstery needed to be done too. Rob completely gutted the boat and replaced all the bad wood and installed new fiberglass. He even rebuilt the supports for the windshield and the bow seats. The work is absolutely amazing! Rob did a great job and I would highly recommend him to anyone that needs boat service. Attached are some before and after pictures of the great work.
