Riviera Marina

There was multiple places to do activities such as walking your dog or skateboard park and also there was an area that had gym, equipment and Pickleball and easy access to the river. Had a pleasant time down there spent the whole day.

I've lived in this town for over 35 years and Riviera Marina has always looked dirty and abandoned to me. The photos I see posted look nothing like the real thing. I would avoid this one . The next spot is upstream just a couple hundred feet where the Arizona war memorial is located. A few decent sandy beaches picnic tables, small bar and grill, launch ramp and usually populated with a lot of people on hot summer days.

My Son and myself don’t own a power boat but we do kayak, we wondered into the Rivera marina just paddling around and investigating and we met the owner Rusty. Rusty was very friendly and told us the history of the marina and what a great story it was 🥰 I recommend anyone looking for a slip next to the river to keep your boat there! It’s not fancy but your boat will be safe and Rusty lives on the property. Rusty also has a great bait shop and around the bend is a awesome restaurant… it’s a win win 👍

Rusty is the best! Sure his place may not be the newest, the fanciest, but the man (Rusty) more than makes up for any shortcomings the marina may have! He will bend over backwards to do you right and he's a wealth of knowledge. How many businesses would offer to do something for free. that they normally get paid to do? I drove my boat in there because I had hit my prop in the rocks. Rusty said ""it wasn't that bad, bring it in and I'll take care of it" When Ii asked how much, he replied "Like I said, it's not that bad, no charge"" He made a lifelong customer right then!

I gave it 5 stars because the shop owner, Rusty, was so helpful for beginner fisherman. He explained how the rod works, what tackle to buy, and where and when to fish. He showed us how to tie a fisherman's knot as well as what "drag" meant and how and when to use it. Rusty didn't just sell us a fishing pole, he trained us and took the time to make sure we knew what we were doing in order to be successful.
