I needed bellows done on my 1984 Bayliner Ciera 2750. Called all over town and Brian was the only one that would take it on. Did the bellows, u-joints and some electrical odds and ends, water tested it, and got it running perfectly - all within 2 weeks, despite a busy season. Great communication, pricing and service, would highly recommend.

For 11 years I have been using Riverside and every season my boat starts right up and I never have any problems. The service is great and there is a reason they are always so busy :) Thank you for all the great seasons!

I thought the last bad experience I had was 6 years ago at this place when they over charged me 1000 bucks and didnt fix my boat. but today topped it off. 1. had my boat there for 1.5 weeks not even looked at. 2. it was a simple 20 hour service. 3. was treated like garbage. 4. Owner yelled at me rather travel 2 hours where I bought the boat then go back. I will never come here again. The place is a joke.

What an ordeal! I took my Bayliner 175 here with a broken starter bolt. They had to take the engine out to get at the bolt and after they re-installed the motor, it made excessive metallic smelling smoke. Sold it to my brother this spring and he took it to another shop and they said that the starter wasn't aligned with the flywheel correctly. They fixed this and now the boat works fine. Last October I purchased a boat with an outboard that didn't run. I took it to Riverside (before I knew the starter wasn't installed right). I politely made it understood that I hoped to get the motor running before cold weather hits and asked with the schedule looked like. He said 'we're busy so it might take a week or two to look at it.' Five weeks later he finally looked at it. He diagnosed a bad CDI power pack and replaced it at a charge of just over a grand with tax. The part cost about $250 and the labor is less than an hour (I Youtubed it). So, I guess he had to spend about seven hours diagnosing it. Okay... He said the motor still doesn't run though and he'll put more time in soon. A week turned into a month turned into TWO MORE MONTHS of me gently reminding him on a weekly basis that I would like the boat finished soon and that it's totally cool if he doesn't have time and to just let me know so I can arrange service with another shop. Three months total to fix a power pack and not get the motor running. I took it to another place in January and they had it running in a week. It needed a trigger and a couple corroded connections fixed. Cost me $450. I must have had fifty text messages with this guy and he just kept reeling in the line a little more every time saying 'soon,' 'next week,' 'as soon as I get these boats winterized.' Finally I asked him for a receipt to break down labor and repairs since I was skeptical of a guy who charged me over a grand to not fix my boat. He said he would get them to me later. He never did. I texted and called and he kept dodging me. Please, fellow boaters, go anywhere else! I would drive to Chincoteague for service before I went here again.

I have dealt with Brian at Riverside Marine service for about 3 years now. Everything I have taken to him he has got the job done correctly and quickly. I had a place telling me one time that my outdrive was blown up and I needed to buy a new one. It was going to cost me three grand. Within a couple minutes Brian found the problem and resolved it. So what I'm getting at is if you want the job done correctly Riverside marine services is the place to go.
