New OWNERS have turned this ramp in a POSITIVE direction.
Easy Venmo payment system with ZERO hassle.
Still some jagged pipes near waterline, and a tight entrance to parking lot, but DEF a better launch now, and than St. Jean (too steep and little dock maintenance).
As of this date of posting, water levels are NO PROBLEM

$10 self serve boat launch and trailer parking. Rustic and simple! Gets you into the canals of Jefferson Chalmers with easy access to Detroit River & Lake Saint Clair. Pretty cool that this used to be one of the primary routes for smuggling in Canadian booze during prohibition.

Very convenient location! Easy to access, very close to the river. The worker was very polite and helpful when he learned it was my first time using the ramp. Highly recommend this launch for small craft only as there is a low bridge on the way to the river.

Too weedy nice place to launch a canoe! The people that run the place like to wait until you're taking off in your boat before telling you that you have to back your trailer into the parking spot....the ONLY launch we've ever HAD to back in!!! STUPID! Go to st jeans luanch same price and much better

$10 and a note with your license plate gets you and your boat safely in. Bring correct change, back your vehicle and trailer in and you are off and rolling. Splash hard!
On busy days Ron is there, making sure all is going smoothly. Bring him a pop and a sandwich, it'll get you in good with him.
