Riverland Terrace Boat Landing

Very pretty boat launch spot

Small and very steep ramp with busy entrance. Evideny there is not a No Wake zone there andarge boats can toss you and your boat as you try to take out or put in. This is an extreme back up to to the large Wapoo landing that can be full on a nice weekend day. If you have a small boat or use it at slack tide you will be OK but parmk g may be a long walk away.

The only boat landing in the oldest neighborhood on James Island, Riverland Terrace. Nice park for the kids, fire station across from the entrance and really nice sunsets while boat watching on the intercoastal's highway feet away. Good stuff, great stuff if you do not need a bathroom. It may be illegal, if it is we didn't do it: Fiction starts here...My Father in Law, the late Billy Baldwin(ex Navy Diver) who grew up as a kid to man in this neighborhood is rumored to have had his ashes spread at this location in Elliots Cut. RIP Billy.

Seemed like people either dropped broken toys off or they have gotten broken over time. My son had fun though.

Decent floating dock for smaller boat craft. Across from the fire station. They added two new benches so now you and two or so friends can actually sit and watch the view and the boats that sail by on good weather days.
