River Valley was extremely friendly , knowledgeable , and they were able to get me in and out in a timely manner. This will be my go to service center in the future.

Nothing has changed to the hot/cold customer service at this true mom/pop service provider. After several years of avoiding this company, and in no part based on the more recent reviews, I called the company to check about doing some marine service work. I assume it was Jackie that just now answered the phone based on the other review that mentions the owners names, but the woman who answered the phone was rude and did not seem to have an ounce of customer service. She sounded very similar to the lady who I spoke to those several years ago who would not honor the pricing given to me before the marine service was started because the employee who gave me the lower price was only a part-time employee. Even though I found problems with the service that was completed, I did not dare return to deal with the horrible customer service. If you are friends with the owners, then you will likely not have an issue, but if you are a new customer, you are rolling the dice on what level of customer service will be done at this one of the few marine service providers in the area.

You know that warm fuzzy feeling when you've finally found a mechanic with impeccable integrity and fair pricing? This place. Jack and Victoria have built and maintained a great operation and people keep coming back for a reason. I had my boat (on broken-down trailer) shipped via semi trailer from Miller Marine St. Cloud who wanted to charge me almost twice the cost to fix, just to get it to them. And Miller Marine wouldn't release my boat until I paid them $150 for their "estimate". Do I need to say more? Crows Nest will have my business until they retire or I finally destroy my boat.
