River Dunes Harbor Club & Marina

We adore River Dunes. This was our 4th year going for a visit and we have stayed in their Tiny cottages (we've now stayed in a 1 bedroom, 3 bedroom, and The 3 bedroom) along with the two bedroom bunk house that you rent from Beth Frazer. River Dunes is so peaceful and charming. We go for long walks, even in the rain. Everyone is so polite. One thing to note is Mon-Wed dining in, especially breakfast is limited. We did that once and had to go into Downtown Oriental every day so we now try to go later during the week or the weekend. Yawls Cafe is open for breakfast/lunch. My husband raved about the shrimp and grits (only available on Saturday) it's a good spot for casual lunch or breakfast. Definitely recommend dining at the Harbor Club at least one night for dinner. Staying on property gets you access. Prices for dinner are reasonable. Especially certain cocktails, wines and dessert.

Great service in a beautiful marina. The burger was cooked perfectly and the turkey club was excellent!

We are in the process of The Great Loop and decided to stay at the Marina for a couple of nights to escape some weather. Staff, amenities, and resteraunt are all oustanding. Marina amenities are in excellent and clean condtion.

What a fabulous marina!! We had an easy docking, at the fuel dock. The dock hand was excellent. We had full use of the pool and laundry facilities. We also enjoyed the restaurant onsite. The Brussels sprouts were divine as well as the salad. My sons burger was super as well. We truly enjoyed our stop!!

Donna & Team New Bern just recently hosted our annual Team Retreat at River Dunes with our entire team of 25 real estate agents. We had a wonderful time staying at the cottages of River Dunes while hosting our meetings within the upstairs venue at the Harbor Club. It created the relaxed unplugged experience we were looking for. The staff were attentive to our lunch, snack and coffee needs while we hosted our meetings. A member of the River Dunes team even made it a point to take some of these amazing photographs and was so kind to share them with us.
