Unfortunately this place isn't open to the public, you either have to be a member or no one of the members. The yacht club itself is amazing! If you somehow get a chance to visit definitely do so.

Very nice and quiet area that is teeming with wildlife and catfish. Enjoyed every second of our stay here.

The best staff and 'boat folks' on the James River. The facilities are always extremely clean, the staff super helpful, and the people leasing slips amazingly friendly. I've kept a 40' boat there for a year, and I wouldn't dream of calling anywhere else on the James 'home.'

One of the many reasons I love living in Richmond and spending time in my favorite places in and around the city is because of places like this. In a city that prides itself on it's rich history with a flair for forward thinking, it's nice to be able to get to places off the beaten path that are truly a world of their own. Everything about the RYB is an experience rarely experienced elsewhere. The facilities are clean, management is friendly and helpful and most importantly it's clear that the entirety of the folks involved here strive to keep and maintain a sense of community. I am not a boater but I have spent many weekends here with friends who are and lease boat slips and it's always a pleasure to spend some time here on a Saturday forgetting about last week and looking forward to the next.
