Go early on Weekends. $5 parking in State Park. This lot is smaller than most lake lots. Dock is around the point for tie offs. Two ramps, decent slope. Shore is rocky, need a second hand unless tie off at dock.

My favorite lake/park in Georgia! Great for jetskis, as long as you stay away from no wake areas. Only park I’ve seen with boat slips and picnic facilities adjacent; perfect for all day hangouts. I spotted at least five boats slips! It’s a drive from the south side but we’ll worth it! See you out there!

Went here to put in kayaks on a Saturday morning. It has a difficult and steep entrance to leave in a car. Concrete boat ramps that can be slick. When the lake is busy there is a lot of chop,even though this launch is in a small cove. Other coves and islands nearby to explore. I'm sure I would have enjoyed this on a day that was less busy.
