Mike, Frank and the rest of team provided me with great service for my 1965 Alpex Sea Aira which was in need of a new motor. The original 1964 85hp Mercury motor was in need of some repairs (after 60 years). I decided it was time for a Mercury Repower. Quality Marine installed a 2024 Mercury 90hp Four Stroke on this old classic boat and took the care to do it right. They beefed up the transom, added brackets, sealed holes, and replaced the steering system by seamlessly integrating it in with the 1965 original steering wheel and bezel with some custom modifications. It looks original, but works like a new model. The motor install included a new controller, and wireless connection to an app on my phone which shows live data from the motor and more. Mike let me know I needed a new trailer because the original one was too small to safely transport the boat with this new motor on it. He found a used trailer, fixed up the tires and wheels and even added a last minute foldable tongue so it would fit in my boat barn! When the boat was ready they helped us with personal service right down to the water at the boat ramp. It was great to to be back on the lake! I could go on, but I recommend you get your Mercury Repower there at Quality Marine!

Absolute scam artist. Stay FARRR away. Bought a boat from here. Even paid Mike directly for it having been winterized. Come to find out, it was never winterized and engine cracked. His response was “you bought the boat, you should’ve checked it”. I’m sure he will try to make all the excuses as to why it’s someone else’s fault, but at the end of the day, he was paid to do a service he never did. He even collected the money for it, claiming he did it. Then we pulled the hoses off the engine and saw it was full of water and hadn’t been winterized. He also kept the propeller off the boat and has refused to give it back or even refund the money he was paid for the winterization he didn’t perform. MORAL OF THE STORY: unless you’re a skilled mechanic who is gonna go behind this guy and check every little bit of work you’re paying him to do, just take it to someone else more trustworthy. Lost a couple thousand making the mistake of trusting this guy without verifying.

I had a bad experience here and do not recommend Quality Marine. I called and texted the owner Mike multiple times and he did not respond in a timely manner throughout the repair process. Often, multiple calls and texts would be left without a response. He was hard to get a hold of for an update. I was the one calling him most of the time wondering what was happening with my motor. The repair took too long, 2 and a half months for a loose wire and blown fuse. He attempted to charge me labor for a warranty repair, which I corrected him and told him it was under warranty. Finally, when we agreed on a time to pick it up, he wasn’t there and was at the lake. The motor was left outside for me on a pallet with his mother watching it. Eventually, Mike’s employee was able to help me lift the motor off the pallet and onto the boat but only after he made me wait while he was taking a long phone call in his car. His employee was not friendly and wanted to leave as quick as possible. He would not run the motor for me to show me it was fixed because Mike was not present (he was at the lake). The only good thing I can say was his mother is nice and professional.

Great Place! Mike the owner cares about his customers. Dillion the mechanic is very knowledgeable and patient in explaining the work needed. I searched for a week looking for a an affordable place to service my center counsel boat. Quality Marine got my boat in and serviced in no time! Services were top notch!! I'll be back

While I have not done any business yet with Quality Marine, I did just get off the phone with Mike. He was very helpful with an issue I am having with my Mercury OptiMax Pro/XS and was very informative. He was willing to take the time to listen and then suggest some cost effective solutions as alternatives. I really appreciate that so I wanted to share this and say that my brief experience was consistent with the positive comments about Mike expressed in other reviews.
