Public Boat Launch

We were just driving by this little town exploring UP Michigan and this was a great place to take pictures. Quite windy the day we were there

A very nice, free ramp. It is a little small, so those of us who can back a trailer with ease can really show off here at this ramp. The ramp is cement and long enough for a dual axle trailer. The depth right at the ramp is about 5 feet, and it averages 3' - 4' out of the harbor into the lake. The docks are very nice. The only drawback is that you must park your vehicle and trailer at the museum 2 blocks down the street, so plan accordingly if you're racing the weather.

Small but beautiful little launch site in town Alden at the curve. there a few boat slips to dock your boat at as well. No parking at all, there is limited parking at the Depot Museum ( during the busy summer season). There are no overnight docking. Great place to park your boat, walk down town Alden for the day, and then get back on torch lake for more fun in the afternoon.

Nice clean place to launch a boat. Spacious and looks pretty easy to launch a boat. Cute little park that surrounds the launch with benches to sit and enjoy the view.
