Props Plus

I purchased a 25 HP Johnson outboard from props plus. When I purchased the motor I was informed that a new water pump was in stalled and the motor was ready to go . As soon as I arrived home t with the outboard I put engine in a barrel to ensure it was ready . The water pump did not pump properly ... Only spit when at high rpm. I called and spoke to manager immediately ...and the motor he once ensured me was ready to go , when I called him the guy who once told me he installed new water pump ..wasn't even sure that took place ... Words were said and the guy hung up on me ...he then said he would replace the engine with one ready ....several months went by ...manager hung up on me during many phone calls and actually quit answering my calls ..long story short these people are not very trustworthy... And do not operate professionaly ...I seriously suggest finding another place to get any work done on ur outboard...since these guys couldn't confidently install a water pump ...which was promised when purchased ....aka. there guys are the run around kings ....thanks

I have bought a lot of parts and have work done from them over the years. Unfortunately the last transaction I did with them will be my last. I bought a kit from them to rebuild the carburetor on my outboard. They sold me a cheap knockoff kit that is around $7 on amazon and charged me $50 for it passing it off as a name brand kit. It failed before I ever got it in the water I ended up taking it to another shop and getting it fixed.

The staff here was very knowledgeable. They seemed to go above and beyond with their help and insight. Prices were competitive. Only repaired and replaced what was needed.
