Prettyboy Reservoir Boat Ramp

Wife and I went up there to do a little fishing. Only a small smallmouth, and a yellow perch , beautiful day.

Nice place to breath some clean air with very little human interaction. Do the cars need to be parked at least 6 ft. Apart? I think so. Having a huge parking lot a couple in their 70s has to park right next to me and come out of the car without masks. I had to close my windows. Why cant they respect a some social distancing? Why is is so hard?

I took the family here to fish. There was plenty of bank space for fishing but due to the trees and grass we kept snagging our lines. But we're also beginner level fishers.

Easy parking, clean, lots of shade

Need a permit to boat here. Has to be obtained through mail with a written application and the pass is mailed...so it takes some time. Beautiful place but can’t just go here on a whim (which probably helps keep people away) not very crowded, very quiet and low key. Oh yes, and have to promise to not use you boat in anywhere other than this and Loch Raven Reservoir due to an invasive zebra mussel problem.
