Perry Yacht Club

Probably the best location in Kansas for sailors. With all new docks and great shore facilities, PYC is a first class operation. Friendly people and a sailing culture that includes cruisers, serious racers, a junior sailing program, and a great social environment. A great place

Definitely the best place to sail in the Kansas City area. It's on a good part of the lake without so much powerboat traffic and has fantastic new docks with power, water, and a pump-out, 2 ramps, a beach that's good for launching dinghies, a weather station you can check online, and even some club-owned boats that members can use. The clubhouse is clean with bathrooms and a big kitchen, and lots of space for RV or tent camping. The biggest draw though is the welcoming, laid back community. There are a lot of people there who are very passionate about sailing, and just as passionate about maintaining a great club.

Loved our weekend at Perry! Clean bathrooms, lovely lake, good company.

Just spent another wonderful weekend here. This is our first year to be members and we couldn't be more happy with discovering it. We have been welcomed into a family of passionate and friendly sailors. The facilities are clean and well kept, and the view from the camp ground is incredible. Our family is looking forward to many more years of enjoyment as part of this place.

Lovely, clean facility. It has everything you need. Clean bathrooms and showers, and a screened kitchen, with lots of room for campers. We came down for the Commodore's Cup 2019. It is a welcoming crew and vendors from Shawnee Optical (you need sunglasses out on the water), Hobi wear and boat info, and Lake Perry Yacht Club wear for sale. Very fun event.
