We live nearby and Kanan loves the water. On days we can't make it to Pawleys or Cherry Grove to enjoy the points there, we come here to swim. He has a blast.

The locals know that peach tree landing is at the end of peach tree road. It is NOT the marina under the HWY 544 bridge. That one is known as the Swing Bridge Landing. All these imports that call themselves locals are giving out bad information on what landing they’re at. A lot of these pictures aren’t from Peach Tree landing they’re from the marina at the beginning of peach tree road. Peach Tree landing has been there for around a century. It is a beautiful, yet small landing that’s deep enough for most small boats, kayaks and jet skis but locals frown on jet skis there because most people go there to fish or for the scenery. It’s one of the few places that is real locals still have so please don’t destroy it.

What a beautiful and quite place. We Launched our Kayak's from here. We never saw any boat other that Kayak's launch from here so that helped keep it quite for us.

Pretty stretch of river to kayak. The lot is smallish but paved and well maintained. Something bad happened here some years ago so don't be surprised (see pictures). There's a nice textured ramp so getting in and out is easy enough and it doesn't seem to be a high volume place. You're off the main channel of the river so the current isn't strong.

I keeping receiving questions about wheelchair accessibility.
Technically yes...there is. But thays because it's an open parking lot....and it's small. So if it's a busy day...then no...because all the cars will be parked too close together.
There is no dock...I don't think wheel chair access to a boat is possible, unless you bring your own ramp.
I gave three stars because of thebparking situation...although...this is one of my favorite spots. Problem is...it has become too popular and at times...too crowded.
The area has cleaned up alot since I first started going there. Still kinda sketch at night.
I was just there yesterday with a buddy...there were four vehicles with trailers...including mine. We pretty much took all the spots.
But the good news is...on the way to this landing you passed a very nice landing on the left, under the bridge, and you turned on to this road. It has a dock, plenty of parking, and there is a small park with a walkway.
This much butter suited for those with power boats. Those with kayaks and canoes...and Jon boats are better going to peach tree landing. The scenery for the kayaker is better, shorter travel to fishing spots for those in Jon boats....and less wakes to deal with from the larger boats.
