Let me tell you all what a great experience I had. I had been speaking with Craig for about a week about driving from Oklahoma City to come out and buy our dream boat. Craig went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed before we came out. The boat was not at their location but at the Acworth location. William had the boat sitting on the lake ready for us when we got there to test drive. One of the tail lights on the trailer wasn’t working and the jack wheel was broke. William got on it immediately and took care of it. From paperwork to getting on the road these guys really stepped up. What a great buying experience. Thank you.

Hunter Rick and Eric took the best care of us today when they fixed our jet ski. these guys were very accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure everything was running properly. Park Marine Boating Center is the only place we can trust to bring our watercraft. these guys are personable and will make sure you are taken care of. thanks guys.

Hunter with park Marine in Gainesville was so helpful with oil and maintenance requirements for my new, used, Yamaha waverunner. He’ll be doing all my service from now on. Was personable, gave me his time, and really knows what he’s talking about. Thanks Hunter !!! -Dan F.

Our sales person at Park Marine, Rick Albrecht, was the most pleasant person to work with. He answered all my husband and my questions and went out of his way to make sure we were happy with our purchase of 2 jet skis. We also met with a couple of service personnel who knew their jobs inside and out. We highly recommend this company to anyone looking for water crafts and their accessories. We will definitely do our maintenance here too.

On Oct 16, 23, I took one of our Yamaha VX Cruisers to Park Marine on Dawsonville Hwy., Gainesville. Early in 2023, we had intermittent starting problems with the machine, and they returned when we took it out of the water for the season. When I walked into their facility, I went to the service counter and described the problem. The machine made a single clicking noise each time an attempt to start the engine was made. I had disconnected the battery terminals, brushed the terminals and connections with a wire brush, re-connected the battery, and got the same result. I could tell that the battery had power due to the noises that you always hear when the starting switch is engaged. Once the guy at the desk heard my description of the problem, he said, "it's the starter relay solenoid. These things are notorious for going bad". (I had already come to the same conclusion due to the fact that it would sometimes give me that single click, I could then reach in and wiggle some wires at the front of the electrical box and, voila, the thing would immediately start right up.) The rear light fixtures on the Jetski trailer also needed replacing. I had the new fixtures in hand, but never seemed to have time to replace them. So, I asked them to do it and left the new fixtures in the front compartment of the machine.
On October 23, 2023, I went to pick up the Jetski. To my utter astonishment, the invoice total was $759.93 (with a $134.99 part charge for the solenoid). They charged $169.00 (an hour's labor) to "diagnose" the "no start" issue. REALLY? I already knew what the problem was, and they had already told me what it was BEFORE they looked at it. They also charged an hour's labor to replace those light fixtures. That might have taken thirty minutes but, frankly, that did not bother me because it would have taken me at least an hour to do it since I was not used to it. They charged an hour and a half labor ($253.50) to install the relay solenoid. This also galled me, especially after I looked at an online video to see how it was done. You have to take out two bolts to remove the electrical box (which is really easy to get to), six bolts to remove the back of that box, two bolts to loosen connectors, disconnect two wires (easy), remove the old solenoid (easy), and then put everything back together. There is NO WAY that this even took an hour for someone who was used to doing this. NO WAY!
But wait, there is more. The service manager called me and told me that the battery was bad. Supposedly, they had charged it overnight and it did not take the charge. According to him, the battery read 11+ when they tested it after the charge and dropped to 10+ when they put power to it. I knew that any battery that reads below 12 needs to be replaced. I did NOT believe the battery to be dead but asked, "how much to replace the battery". He quoted me over $233.00. I said no, I will do it myself. After picking up the Jetski, I returned to our lake house in Dawsonville to prepare it for winter storage. I checked the battery terminals, and one was almost completely loose. I tightened it back up and, bang, the Jetski started right up (without hesitation). When I got home with this battery on the 26th, I put it on a mere two-hour trickle charge at 2% (it read 12.2 when I hooked it up, a 50% charge). After only two hours at 2%, I disconnected it and waited until the next morning (the 27th) to test it. It read 12.4 which is MORE than a 75% charge. On November 3rd, seven days later, I hooked the battery back up to the charger and it STILL read 12.4 (still over 75%, pic attached). The battery is over three years old. I will leave it to the reader to imagine what I really think about the astounding labor charges and the CLEAR deception regarding the battery. Will I ever take one of our Jetskis there again? What do you think?
Note, and in edit. On November 24th, I connected the battery to the charger again. Three weeks later, I still got a 12.4 reading. Was I told the truth about the battery? NO! Do I feel ripped off by hourly overcharges? YES!
