Pamet Harbor Ramp

I don't know much about boat docks or ramps but we got in and out pretty quickly, it was super cute and pretty there too

Like a previous person wrote, great place to have a snack... and enjoy its calmness. There wasn't much going on, which was what I was looking for. Nice breeze, quiet, snack, and a little break from driving. Parking spots are large to extra large to accommodate vehicles towing boats - making this ideal when driving something longer. Porta-pottie, Johnny rocket... on site as well.

Important to note is that our visit here was for the purpose of having a different viewing of the bay area and not for the purpose of launching or retrieving a boat. Nice location with adequate parking and fortunately for boaters, very protected from the open bay. For scenic enthusiasts, there was virtually nothing noteworthy this time of year (October)...majority of boats had been removed, area was desolate, and because it is a horbor, no view of the bay. Nice place to have a quiet lunch, feed the seagulls or reminisce without interference.

Talk to the harbor master (in shed by docks), ask if it’s okay to fish over by the far corner of the parking lot. This is a busy boat loading area and you are not supposed to fish there, but the harbor master will allow it if it’s not too busy and by asking you are acknowledging the need to stay well out of the way. There is a narrow passage there you can easily cast into, preferably near high tide and sunset. Smallish stripped bass come in to hide among the weeds for the night. Larger bass follow to feed on whatever they corner in the shallows. You can do this with a non-surf casting pole.
