We went this past weekend, it was so welcoming and very quiet / to yourself place. We had an amazing neighbor while we camped, it’s definitely worth checking out, we would definitely go again. Had a blast!

I love this boat launch. There's 3 actually, including a kayak launch. They're in good shape.

Love this boat launching area, I was able to go island hopping with my kayak and was able to see some pretty cool hidden parks on these islands. The river current is a bit strong and the water depth can range to 32ft deep in some areas so make sure you have a back up plan in case you flip your kyack, bring a friend or family member with you, as always safety first and have fun!!!!

Beautiful area.. like others have said the first 2 docks are great.. but if you are a personal watercraft operator like we are, that area is subpar at best.. DNR sure likes collecting monies for launch permits for personal watercraft (kayaks) but does an inadequate job of keeping the area suitable for launch of them...
