Richard Osbourne helped me so much today. I am not a regular customer of his or anything, but I have a serious problem with my boat that no one (not even the Dealer) wants to touch. He spent his valuable time on the phone with me bouncing ideas out, even though he was right up front saying these kinds of issues are not his specialty. After wat too many fruitless calls to many of the boat repair places in the area, Richard has renewed my faith in humanity. If this guy can't help you, you are on you're own... He will certainly be my first call next time. Thank you Richard.

Nice place. They stayed late to look up a part for me and had it. Good service

I've had nothing but great experiences with everyone at Osborne's not only helping me with my boat but also had some emergency car issues which they helped out tremendously. I don't think they overcharge and provide a good, timely service - always looking for the best solution for the money rather than thinking about how much money they can make off of you. I have no problem recommending the team there and look forward to working with them in the future.

I dropped off my boat on Sept 5th 2015 and told them that the boat didn't have enough power. They said it's probably the propeller. I left it with them and didn't hear back for a couple weeks. I figured that was kind of strange because they shouldn't be busy. Over the next 10 months I played phone tag with them, at one time leaving 11 messages without getting a single one returned. I even tried contacting them through their website without any success.
I got the runaround that they were busy and would get to it. Then, after several messages, I got to talk to someone and they said they had tried it out and sure enough their wasn't enough power. (Duh I already told them that.) They would take it out again and try different propellers. Why they didn't bring some to try in the first place who knows? After several voice mails I finally got to talk to someone and they said they were going to take it out and try propellers. Just like they said a few weeks earlier.
At this point the season is shot so I tell them to fix it, Winterize it and I would pick it up in the spring. I kept calling them as the season got closer. At one time leaving 11 voice mails without hearing anything back. Then hearing they were going to get it in the shop next week. Three weeks later I call and hear that they got it in the shop were going to try a couple things and let me know. Nothing for a couple weeks, again with the voice mails, and finally talking to someone and hearing they would get it in the shop soon.
Fast forward a month or so and I finally talk to someone again and they say they think it is the carburetor. They are going to try something and will let me know. Nothing from them for another couple weeks. Again I leave voice mails. Then talk to someone and they think it is a problem with the # 4 cylinder. They mess around with that for a couple weeks only to find out they were using their test equipment wrong and it is actually the #7 cylinder. A couple weeks more go buy and I finally get to talk to someone. At this point I have stopped trying to leave voice mails because they never return them. They say there is a crack in the #7 cylinder and I need to replace the motor, gimble bearing, pump assy. and they JUST happen to have a used motor.
At this point I am just wanting the boat back so I buy the used motor from them and tell them to get the thing running and that this is ridiculous that it's well into the boating season and the boat hasn't seen water. I finally talk to someone again after several tries and they tell me they are trying to get the motor they sold me running. I don't even ask.
Fast forward another couple weeks and they finally call to tell me it's ready. I go down the following Saturday during their normal hours. NOBODY AROUND! I try calling even Facebooking them nothing. A week and a half later I hear back that I can pick it up anytime just calll firrst to make sure they are around. Saturday comes and I call them. Yep you guessed it nobody around. Tried calling from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm and just give up. They call me back and I actually get the honor of speaking to live a person. I told him you know you have had this boat for 10 months...10 FREAKIN' MONTHS. It is worthless this year the season is coming to an end and ask if they want to keep it for what the bill is. They think about it and decline the offer.
Today I FINALLY got someone on the phone and went down to pick it up. The bill was nearly $2800 and includes stuff I don't think the boat even needed. I paid it and just got out of there.
My advice people is to stay the hell away from this place. It looks like the kind of place that boats go to die. There must be 30 abandoned trailers on the way up their driveway. It's July 23rd 2016 and I JUST got my boat back.
