One of my all-time favorite launch spots on the Meramec river. Onondaga State Park is beautiful and scenic and the river ramps make for a perfect spot to either start or end a float trip. I've taken countless 10 mile trips downstream to Blue Springs Conservation Area ramp, but I've also floated down the Courtois and Huzzah on 10 mile floats and gotten out at Onondaga. Another option is starting 10 miles upstream on the Meramec and floating straight downstream to Onondaga... Honestly so many float options off of one ramp. Get on the water and experience this beautiful state!
