I used this boat ramp as a takeout for a kayak trip so I can't tell you anything about launching a boat. I will say that coming down the river this ramp is easy to miss. The shoreline is heavily covered with tree growth and literally the only open place is the ramp and about 4 feet on one side. That being said, it severed its purpose.
