Old Point Comfort Marina

Deadrise restaurant was very bad , had yellowfin tuna . Blackened in name only. Rice was crusty not fluffy. So much salt on everything my lips were swollen.

New boater, been here about 6 weeks. Its great. George was super friendly and helpful getting me setup with the slip. Great rates, all the amenities I need. the location is convenient, yet secluded from the rest of town, gates are secure. very quiet and peaceful vibes here.

Food is delicious, and you can not beat the sunset views. The wine glasses are all stemless if you are a person who prefers a stemmed glass. The portions and prices are right on the money. They even had half off wine prices, which was a pleasant surprise. There is a flight of stairs that must be climbed to enter the restaurant. It is not easy for some people who are elderly or have health issues.

What's a marina without a boat ramp? After many years, decades, having the most strategic boat ramp to the HRBT area, the Army moves out and the ramp gets disowned. The ramp is permanently closed. This is a huge setback for this area. I've heard rumors of this area getting redeveloped. That would be nice. It is looking mighty weathered lately.

A lovely view of the water. I do not own any boats, so I can't speak to the reliable of the marina. However, I enjoyed the view looking outwards into the water.
