UPDATE - Listen, Don is the real deal. Great guy, great business owner and beyond reasonable. I moved to Rockford 2 summers ago and needed his help with my boat immediately. He was sympathetic with my situation even though he was SWAMPED with work, but still moved my work to the top of the list and got my boat repaired in 48 hours. Fast forward to today (5/20/22). Let's just say that I messed up and Don could have raked me over the coals because that's what my contract stated. Instead, Don worked with me to come to reasonable terms. As long as he's in business, I'll continue to bring my boat business to Don.

Since moving to Cedar Springs 4 years ago from Grand Rapids, Offshore is the only place I have taken my boat repair business. They have done a great job for a very fair price (on 3 different boats). I always get the honest truth about what repairs should be done and suggestions such as, "if I was you this is what I would do" and that means a lot. Don has helped me sell a boat and I also also just purchased a beautiful boat from him that he repaired. I remain a loyal customer until I retire in the UP (maybe he will move up there with us... if you have talked with him much, you know how he loves the snow).

Don was very knowledgable and had my boat fixed 4 days earlier than what he originally quoted. He took time to answer many questions when i picked up at the end of the day as well. I feel like most shops wont give you pointers to keep u running longer as they want u to come back. Not Don! You can tell he wants your boat on the water! Not his shop... I will definitely bring back to him next time!!

We had a wonderful experience with offshore enterprises! He replaced the starter on our boat motor within one day, he has very fair prices, and he even dropped the boat off at our house since we did not have a vehicle with a hitch available. We will certainly go back and would recommend him to anyone in the area. 5/5

Cannot say enough great things about Don and the team at Offshore!! They are fantastic and trustworthy. They stuck with my ski boat through a seemingly endless list of issues, from electrical, to mechanical to structural, taking it for almost a dozen test rides trouble shooting problem after problem until they could give it back to me running reliably and smoother than it had since I've owned it. Don put my satisfaction and their reputation before price and made sure we were happy and, most important, made sure we had boat we could enjoy for years to come!!
